About Us
Eagle Ridge is a member run summer pool and tennis club that focuses on a family-centered atmosphere that not only provides swim and tennis facilities but areas for families to gather and children to play. There are many activities for kids to engage in beyond swimming and tennis that will keep them smiling and busy all day! Our tennis program is led by a certified Tennis Pro and offers lesson programs for toddlers to adults - as well as a competitive team program. Our swim program offers six levels of American Red Cross certified lesson instruction and a competitive swim team for kids of all ages and abilities. Both competitive programs compete with clubs in the Orchard Park/ Hamburg area. Eagle Ridge is a USTA member organization and offers USTA's 10 and Under youth development program.
Location
A heavily treed nine-acre plot of land adjacent to Jewett-Holmwood Road just west of Eagle Heights subdivision. Automobile entrance from Jewett-Holmwood leads to an adjacent parking lot. Pedestrians & bicycles may enter via a footpath off Timberlake Drive at the bottom of Fawn Terrace within Eagle Heights.
Facilities
A Club Manager and Certified Pool Operator oversees the operation of the facilities
Children’s wading pool with up-to-date filtration system in separate fenced area
Newly resurfaced pool and bath house with changing room and toilet facilities
Four lighted tennis courts until 11:00PM
One practice tennis court
A covered 1,800 square foot picnic pavilion with four large grills
Lighted sand volleyball court
Children’s playground area
Modified soccer field with goals and game area
Competitive junior tennis and swim team programs - including lessons for all ages
Social calendar includes family picnics, socials, holiday parties and other events
Fees
An application fee in the amount of $50.00 is required with your application (fee is nonrefundable). A $1500.00 one time initiation fee will be required at the time of admission into Eagle Ridge Recreation Association. The dues for 2024 will be determined soon. Dues are determined in February of each year. To confirm your acceptance of an available membership, you must remit these amounts within fourteen days of notification of an available membership in the Club.
The Board of Directors, with approval of the general membership, has the option to change the fees and/ or the redemption process. The Board of Directors assesses annual dues to cover the operating costs of the Club, as determined each year. In addition, Club members are expected to participate in the annual spring or fall workday/ general meeting - or be charged a fee set by the Board of Directors. You will be billed for the dues separately each spring.
Membership
Membership is limited to approximately 160 families with paid initiation fee and dues. New applicants are placed on a waiting list if the membership is complete. A place on the list can be reserved upon payment of $50.00 of a non-refundable Application Fee. Please note that ERRA can make no guarantee as to when membership will be available.
